A popular circuit on the Coromandel Peninsula, often completed with an overnight at Pinnacles Hut (NZ's largest). However, this is my favourite local circuit for a quality half-day trail run mission. The drive up the Kauaeranga valley is a must in itself with plenty of swim opportunities on your way home.
